What Does it Take to Throw a Memorable Bachelorette Party?
Knowing your bride and the group of friends that will make up the Bachelorette crew is the first and most important step in throwing a memorable bachelorette party. The most common mistake people make when planning a bachelorette party is not asking the bride what she wants. No two brides are alike and neither are bachelorette parties.
A Bachelorette party, Hen Party, and Stagette are all terms used to describe the celebration of a bride's last night of "freedom" with her closest friends before she gets married. Unless the bride to be has told you recently in no uncertain terms what she wants for her bachelorette party, we don't suggest you have a surprise agenda. While she may like to go to Vegas for an all male review and bar hopping with the girls, it may be that she and her fiance agreed on some no no's for the bachelor and bachelorette party, or that some of the people she would like to share in this event would not attend a wild night out. You don't have to give her all the details of the night, but you should talk to her and find out the general idea she has in mind for this night, respect her wishes, and start planning! This is a night she will look back on forever, so have fun with it.

If your bride to be is up for a wild night out with the girls, make sure you have all of the accessories and games that will make her the center of attention and ensure that she drinks for free!
- Dress her so everyone knows that she is the bride to be and this is her bachelorette party. There are lots of different bride and bachelorette tops, crowns, and veils out there for her to wear.
- Plan some games for the bar! Bachelorette Games have become such an integral part of bachelorette bar crawls that there are many already pre-packaged and ready for a night on the town.
- Help make sure she gets those drinks for free with her very own shot glass! While some bachelorette kits come with their own shot glass, you might want to consider getting her a special penis shaped shot glass.
Night in with the Girls!
Some bachelorettes would rather have a fun night in with the girls. The party can be a singular theme like slumber party, movie night, or lingerie party or it can be a multi themed night that incorporates lots of fun and different ideas. We like the idea of a multi-themed slumber party so there is a little something for everyone. Need some ideas?
- Create a signature cocktail served in a fun cocktail glass or shot glass with playful bachelorette party stirrers. (This can be an alcoholic or non-alcoholic drink.)
- If it's a sleepover, make sure the "bride to be" has a cute outfit to wear.
- Combine the bachelorette party with a naughty shower theme like lingerie or sex toy shower. If you do a lingerie themed party, ask every guest to bring a fun, flirty, or sexy piece of lingerie for the bride. If you want to throw a sex toy party you can ask everyone to wrap and bring an adult toy like a vibrator or rabbit, a sex education video, or a romance kit. You can even bring in a consultant to host an adult sex toy party for you.
- Watch chic flicks! There are some great girl films and shows out there that are best enjoyed in the company of girlfriends, like Sweet Home Alabama, Pretty Woman, or Sex and the City.
- Play games! Create your own game to see who knows the most about the bachelorette, play naughty games like adult themed pick up sticks, or even a trivia game like Sex and the City Trivia.
Don't forget to send out a fun invitation to all the guests that lets them know the theme of the night, what if anything they need to bring, and gives them an idea of what to expect for the night. The invitation sets the tone for the party so make it fun and interesting. Create your own or just add a little bit of flair to it by sprinkling some naughty confetti into each invitation.
